Musical genres from A to Z
Unpredictable community radio! In one hour on WITT, you might hear anything from a cut from a movie soundtrack, an aria by Pavarotti, electronica from Brian Eno, something from Joan Baez, fine pickin’ by Flatt and Scruggs, Hogeye Navvy , Chuck Berry, blues from Little Walter, something from John Lennon, John Coltrane, or even a new track from Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s.
There are programs for kids, adults, public affairs, news programs… WITT even turns the microphone over to you! Click here to learn more about getting your own 30 minute program!
Who We Are
91.9 WITT-FM commenced broadcasting in June 2009 after nearly 15 years of hard work, but the wait was well worth it. Serving a large portion of Central Indiana from our tower located in Boone County, WITT is a 6000 watt, full-power FM radio station operating at 91.9 megahertz. WITT is a non-commercial station, therefore financial support is based upon your tax deductible donations to WITT’s licensee, Kids First Inc., 501c(3). WITT is programmed and managed entirely by community volunteers. Jim Walsh is board chairman and founder.

REMEMBER CITY RADIO?
Back in the 1990′s, before WITT had a frequency, you may recall seeing a “City Radio” logo on T-shirts, fundraising canisters, and at various art festivals and community events. Perhaps you even came to one those meetings in the early “vision” days. That vision is now a reality with 91.9 WITT-FM.
